Jaxons?

Another day, another Klaxons video.

We're huge fans of the boys ("Magick" is a high contender for single/video of the Year), but imagine our a) amazement b) disarray when we realized, upon viewing the new video for "Golden Skans", that the first 15 seconds are a COLD, HARD RIP OFF of our favorite video ever, "Feel It" by the Jackons, in which a pre-insanity Michael Jackson showers the unloved masses of Planet Earth in golden dust and turns bridges into rainbows.

Seriously. "In the beginning". The dust. The balls of fire. The fists viciously pounding puddles of water. WTF Klaxons. WTF?

The video's kind of killer though, and we salute the Klaxons for showing some bod. Not every day do you see a pasty white boy throw on some colored ribbons and dance around a wormhole.

I bet the company that did the effects in the jackson's video is the same one who did the effects in The Last Dragon when Bruce Leroy becomes the 'Masta'. The 'Soul Glo' gives it away.

& it looks like the Klaxons & Fischerspooner totally have the same stylist.

p.s. thanks for the link!!

No problem.

Vanity Fair mentionned Fischerspooner in the Performance Art section of their Arts Issue last month... and I kind of WTF'd all over the place. I've realized with this video that I like Klaxons because they're ugly. Holler!
