and they're not from Canada and are actually on Polyvinyl...but anyhow!
WHO: HEADLIGHTS (Erin Fein, Brett Sanderson,Tristan Wraight)
WHERE: FROM CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS
ALBUM: Kill them with Kindness (Polyvinyl Records) is their debut album released in 2006.
IF YOU LIKE: Earlimart, Stars, Broken Social Scene
The album might have come out last summer but it's always refreshing to hear infectious pop tunes that just make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside while you bop around. Hand-clapping is always a plus. Keys are a nice touch too.
Get ready for this band to become one of your new favorites.
P.S. I really like their video for their song, "TV" and I would have embedded that goodie in this post but alas I cannot. But I promise that it's worth watching, so check it out here.
