I FEEL IT...

Feist has a new video for her latest single, 'I Feel It All' - which I might add is one of the highlights for us off her album, The Reminder (Interscope). Miss Leslie Feist once again teams up with director Patrick Daughters who was behind vids for the colorful, Skittles spectacular '1234' and the equally dancetastic 'My Moon My Man.'

CEC and I are going to learn how to synchronize dance or something...that's what Leslie Feist does to us. With her previous work, she's come off as a super serious singer-songwriter but with her latest album, The Reminder (Interscope) - we dig these playful videos! So we promised we would stop with the youtubes for the day but we've been sitting in offices all day with the thermostat set at 75 when it's a scorchin' 90 something degrees outside. WTF?! The boss man wants us to be distracted at our desks posting youtubes...can you blame us?

Happy Fucking Summer Solstice!

Fuck, it's summer and I only want to listen to depressing music, good music - but totally downer music. I probably have these sentiments because I'm extremely tired and exuding alcohol from every pore on my body. Yes world, another day sitting at my desk when I'm completely hung over.

Broken Social Scene's 2002 release, You Forgot it in People is to this day one of my favorite albums. There is a track on there for everyone to enjoy. It's heartfelt, bittersweet with a pinch of melancholy. So good...

Apparently, we can’t seem to get enough of music from Montreal today. Maybe it’s because Canadian record label Arts & Crafts is just one big happy family (home to Feist, Broken Social Scene, Jason Collett) that makes sweet, sweet music that we simply can’t get enough of. Ex-Stars touring guitarist Stephen Ramsey and Catherine McCandless of Young Galaxy just released their self-titled debut this month with collaborations with The Dears and Stars.



This video is a video of hope! Soon you will be chanting… “Outside the city I see, I see I’m inside out…” Over and over and over again. It made us realize we need a vacation.

This is the latest video from our favorite brunette from across the border. It's for the single, "1234" off of Feist's forthcoming album, The Reminder (Interscope)! This video which was directed by Patrick Daughters in one continuous shot, with some amazingly fun choreography. Who doesn't love a lady in a blue sequined jump suit? It's a human Skittles rainbow! This video is simply magical.
